Ghee Indian Kitchen

This incredible place is known for its tasty Indian food and the fact that most of the ingredients used in the restaurant are from the chef's ranch. Niven Patel, the chef at Ghee Indian Kitchen, has a Rancho Patel in Homestead and proudly uses the ingredients he produces. And what guarantees you that you'll enjoy your dinner and that the food will be beyond tasty? It's the fact that it's a family restaurant, and both Patel's mother and mother-in-law work there and prepare incredible dishes. Great place for a date during fall in Miami.

Zitz Sum

There are many top Miami restaurants and ones inspired by Asian cuisine, and Zitz Sum is just one. This speakeasy is located in Coral Gables, and it's relatively new. Still, even after a short time in the business, this dumpling spot has become a favorite place for locals and those visiting the city.Ā  The star of their menu is hand-rolled dumplings, but also, you shouldn't skip on their scallion pancakes.Ā

Glass & Vine

Serving delicious food since 2015, Glass & Vine is everyone's favorite outdoor restaurant. This is the place to visit if you want to relax while sipping a cool cocktail and eating the best Black Angus Ribeye or some Chicken & Black Truffle Gnocchi. And if you are looking for a great place to sit outside in beautiful surroundings while eating tasty food, this restaurant will become your favorite too. The garden will take your breath away as it's a perfect place to run away from stress and anything bothering you.Ā  They offer brunch, lunch, and dinner menus and an exciting cocktail menu. And if you want to enjoy a bite after work and a few drinks, they have happy hour during the work week from 3 pm to 6 pm, so be sure to check that out.Ā

Lucali

You probably won't go to New York anytime soon, but you can spend your fall in Miami pretending you are strolling Brooklyn if you visit Lucali. It's where you can eat the best bagels and pizza made in a wood-burning oven. But that's not all; something else we love from their menu is their meatballs made from Black Angus.Ā

Mi'talia Kitchen & Bar

If you feel like you are in the mood for some delightful Italian food, Mi'talia Kitchen & Bar is the place to hit. It's a spot that serves food inspired by Chefs Janine Booth and Jeff McInnis's travels through Italy. Janine and Jeff are incredible chefs, and their passion for everything food-related and each other can be seen in every dish that goes out of their kitchen. They've managed to make a fusion of Northern and Southern Italian specialties and make them in an American way.Ā  The restaurant is a great place to go if you have something to celebrate or want to spend quality time with your loved ones. You should try their Mama's Meatballs, Sunflower Pizza, Bucatini Carbonara, and Not Your Nonna's Bolognese. These are our recommendations, but whatever you choose from the menu will meet your expectations.Ā

Boia De

Located on the edge of Little Haiti, Boia De is one of the best places to eat in Miami. They have a menu filled with American delicacies and specialties. The dishes are classics, but they are made to perfection. Chefs Luciana Giangrandi and Alex Meyer put so much thought into every dish they make, and anyone who steps foot in their restaurant can see it.Ā  If you have never liked beef tartare, you need to try it here. We know that you will change your mind about this iconic dish. And if you like it, also try it, because it will be the best beef tartare you have ever tried. It's served with crunchy shallots and fried capers, a mind-blowing combination. Their pasta is also incredible as they make in-house pasta, which is always fresh.Ā

Bayshore Club

Did you hear there's a new waterfront restaurant in Coconut Grove? Its name is Bayshore Club, and it's worth mentioning in our guide. It's located in the most iconic and historic site, Dinner Key. It's one of the most incredible places to eat in Miami, as at the exact place where the restaurant is no, there was the first continental naval air station in the US during WWI. It was an important place then, and it is also now, as its earlier glow is back with the help of one of the best restaurants in Miami.Ā  When it comes to food, Bayshore doesn't disappoint. Everything is so fresh and tastes incredible. And we recommend you try something from their raw section; Chilled Oysters, Shrimp Cocktail, Coral Reef Ceviche, or Tuna Tartare Cones.Ā

La Mar

La Mar is a Peruvian restaurant by Diego Oka, a very skillful and talented chef. The atmosphere here is always on point, and they have a beautiful waterfront patio from which you can see both Downtown and Brickell. It's one of the best spots in the city to be by the water. They are known for their raw dishes from the Peruvian kitchen. So it's a no-brainer that you'll want to order their ceviche or tiradito once you're there. And the tuna tostada from their new menu is something we can't describe with words. Fall in Miami is even better when you have places like this one.

Stiltsville Fish Bar

One of the top Miami restaurants is this seafood place, Stiltsville Fish Bar. It's the best place you can visit if you can't stop thinking about seafood and you want to be sure that you'll get the best service and food made with the best-quality ingredients.Ā  This place is a proper neighborhood restaurant, and you'll feel like you are a part of the crew once you visit it. You'll feel like you've been here a thousand times before. But the food tastes so much better than anything you've tasted before. Chefs Janine Booth and Jeff McInnis are managing to incorporate their creativity and years of experience in presenting a casual yet perfectly curated menu filled with seafood delicacies. Their Roasted Whole or Crispy Whole Fish are two dishes that are made to be shared, and we recommend that anyone going with friends order that. And as a starter, you can go with the Stiltsville Tackle Box filled with raw oysters, royal red shrimp cocktail, lobster salad with avocado, and some local tuna ceviche.Ā

Root & Bone Miami

We again recommend a place run by no other than Chefs Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth. Root & Bone was the first lovechild of this incredible power couple, and it was first opened in New York in 2013. Almost ten years have passed, and Root and Bone is now located in Miami and is loved by locals and tourists. And there's a reason we mention it; it's because this is also one of the best restaurants in Miami.Ā  This place is for you if you are into Southern specialties and want to eat food prepared with love and passion. Their Fried Chicken Sandwich will make your mouth water, and the Truffle Tater Tots will leave you wanting more. Also, you shouldn't skip on Gooey Sweet Corn Souffle and Watermelon & Pickle Jar.

Cote Miami

Come to this restaurant if you want to spend fall in Miami eating good food. It's one of the best-known Miami restaurants, and it's for a reason. Here you'll be able to enjoy fine-dining level dishes while enjoying a laid-back atmosphere. And you'll be able to experience the true nature of Korean barbeque while the servers cook dry-aged beef right in front of you.Ā  We recommend you try the Butcher's Feast tasting experience, which is worth the price. And don't forget to order some of their fabulous cocktails.Ā

Mandolin Aegean Bistro

Is My Big Fat Greek Wedding your favorite movie? If it is, you need to experience their food in the best possible manner, especially if you won't have a chance to visit Greece anytime soon. Mandolin Aegean Bistro is a cute place where you can sit outside while sipping homemade sangria and eating mezze. It's also a very romantic place, so if you plan a date night soon, here's an idea. The food is excellent, the fish is always fresh, and you can share it with someone else, alongside fresh pita bread and some Tzatziki and Mediterranean olives.

Makoto

If you want to try the best sashimi and the freshest, Makoto is the place to go, and it can be your new favorite place to spend your fall in Miami. The food here is Japanese, and most of its seafood. And the atmosphere we can't even describe appropriately as it is phenomenal. This is definitely one of the top Miami restaurants if you ask us.

LekuĀ

Spanish food joints are always exciting and always have good food to offer. And this one, in particular, will teleport you to the Basque country. And that's incredible as not many places focus on this part of Spanish cuisine.Ā  You must try Iberico ham on bread and their cheesecake when you get there. Whatever you choose, you will be astonished. But the real show stoppers are their meats. They have an outdoor Josper grill that perfectly cooks every piece of meat.Ā

Los Felix

This is not your typical Mexican restaurant. Los Felix is one of the best restaurants in Miami focused on Mexican food. And you'll be happy to hear that everything is made from scratch and handmade here. They make their tortillas by grounding corn in a grinder made from volcano rock. And yes, we forgot that corn is imported straight from Mexico. They have great dishes that feature various types of meats, but it's interesting that they also have vegetarian and vegan options on their menu. And yes, they also have an incredibly curated wine menu.Ā

Mamey

Named after the exotic fruits, Mamey is a project of Niven Patel, the chef we mentioned when talking about Ghee Indian Kitchen. The chef traveled through Asia, French Polynesia, and the Caribbean and decided to establish a restaurant that would show his impression of his travels. And Mamey is one of the most exciting places to eat in Miami.Ā  And like with his other restaurant, most of the ingredients he uses are from his farm. And it seems he had a great time on his travels as the dishes he now creates are perfect, and they don't miss anything. Try their plantains roasted on ghee and Bahamian conch fritters.Ā

HutongĀ

We can't make a guide of the hottest Miami restaurants and not include at least one featuring Chinese cuisine. This is a perfect place where you'll be able to eat the best specialties from Northern China.Ā  If the menu seems pricy, they have a special offer, a Red Lantern menu available from Wednesday to Sunday, and gives you a chance to try their most famous dishes for a lower price. And the best thing you can get here is the Peking duck, made authentically.Ā

Motek CafƩ

Motek is a great place to hit if you are looking for tasty falafel that's crispy enough and made in the best possible way. And yes, their hummus is incredible, and sometimes it's enough just to eat it alone with some fresh pita. But that would be sad, as they have numerous great dishes, like their shakshuka.Ā  What's interesting about this place, besides its cute and hip interior, is they serve breakfast during the whole day.Ā

Stubborn Seed

One of the brightest stars on the gastronomic scene in Florida is the Stubborn Seed restaurant. It's a place specialized in American cuisine that's super tasty and made innovatively. And if you don't believe us that this place is outstanding in every way, you should believe Michelin. The restaurant got its first Michelin star in the brand new Florida guide, and we believe that in no time, it will get another star because it's one of the most incredible places to eat in Miami. Chef James Ford is on a mission to make great food and get fine dining closer to everyone. His dishes are executed with perfection, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is everything but cold and sterile. Here you'll feel like you've come to eat at your friend's place because the staff tries to make you feel at home. But don't get us wrong, the service is top-notch, and you can expect anything and more you would expect in a Michelin restaurant.Ā  We always recommend that anyone try their tasting menu, especially the Chef's, as it is perfectly curated, and you'll be in for a surprise. You need to know that it's only served on Fridays and Saturdays, so be sure to call and book your table in advance.Ā  Did you find something interesting in our guide? We know you did, and now you're probably hungry, so you better pick a place from this list and run to get some tasty food in your stomach.Ā  Remember this guide when you need to find a good food joint in no time, and don't forget that every place on this list is perfect in its own way. And every spot is worth your time and money, believe us.
