But do you have plans for later? If you plan to chill in the sun or swim in the sea, you will need something to replenish your energy later, and we know exactly what you need.Ā  Florida finally got its Michelin Guide, and many of the Florida Michelin star restaurants are located in Miami. So, why not make a plan to visit at least one of them and celebrate your Miami Labor Day adventure in style?Ā  There's nothing better than time off work, and Labor Day weekend in Miami can be much better than you planned if you go out for dinner in some of these fine establishments. We've listed the best Florida Michelin star restaurants in the article below, so be sure to write them down; you'll need that list later.

Ariete

This fine establishment is run by no other than chef Michael Beltran, the legend. The chef grew up in Miami and is now sharing his childhood with others through his food in a fine dining restaurant.Ā  Ariete is the perfect combination of Cuban and American cuisine that Michael managed to unite in an incredible symphony. It's one of the best Florida Michelin star restaurants and an ideal spot to go out for a Miami Labor Day dinner. If you often feel overwhelmed when you have to order food, we can help you and recommend their pressed duck.Ā

L'Atelier de JoĆ«l RobuchonĀ

One of Miami's most prestigious Michelin star restaurants is the L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon, the only one with two stars. This fine establishment is a sort of homage to the late chef JoĆ«l, run by his protĆ©gĆ©es. So it's not a surprise that's the case as JoĆ«l Robuchon has earned 32; yes, you've read that right, 32 Michelin stars in his career. The atmosphere is just like you would imagine in a fine dining restaurant, a place where you won't go in with your shorts and sneakers on because it won't be respectful to the food. They frequently update their tasting and a-la-carte menus, so it's best to go there without knowing the items on the menu and let yourself indulge in the surprise.Ā

Stubborn Seed

The total opposite to the previously mentioned restaurant is Jeremy Ford's Stubborn Seed. But we don't mean it badly; on the contrary. Chef Jeremy managed to do the unimaginable; he succeeded in establishing a fine dining restaurant with a casual and easy-going note. You can feel a sense of familiarity and a pleasant atmosphere when you enter the restaurant. The interior is modern and industrial; however, it is not cold and unwelcoming; it's quite the opposite; it's inviting and cozy. Stubborn Seed is the spot for you if you ever felt like you don't belong in a fine dining place. You'll be able to appreciate the impeccably executed dishes while also feeling like you are sitting in the dining room of an old friend. We always recommend you try the Chef's 8-course tasting menu, available until 9 from Sundays to Thursdays, if you want to get to know the chef and see why this place is one of Florida's Michelin star restaurants. And for the Labor Day weekend in Miami, you can try the regular Testing Menu.

Cote MiamiĀ

Located in the Design District, this Korean steakhouse will change how you see and feel about meat. But before we talk about food, let us talk about the atmosphere and the interior. The dĆ©cor is also fabulous; you will feel like you are in Seoul when you set foot in it. Regarding the food, we don't have to mention that it's outstanding, but we have to say that the staff prepares most of your meals in front of you in the center of your table. That's why you will feel like you are in Korea and have the best time of your life. Try the 45-day dry-aged beef if you want to experience how a real piece of meat tastes. And don't forget to order a cocktail, they're also delicious.Ā

HidenĀ

The best part of this Michelin star restaurant in Miami is that you need to go through a door in the back of a taco stand in Wynwood to enter the restaurant. You'll feel like you are in a spy movie and entering a secret lair. The only problem is that it's challenging to enter and not in a sense you can't find the door or something similar. You can't find the reservation for it and must wait months to get in. But even in the movies, not everyone can enter the secret lair. So, you can try to make a reservation for Labor Day weekend in Miami next year. And once you get inside, be prepared for high prices, but also know that it's worth it, as it is Japanese food you have never tried.Ā

El CieloĀ

Colombian chef Juan Manuel Barrientos runs Elcielo, an incredible restaurant that's hard to describe with words. Juan is a master and an artist, and you can see it when you see the food he makes. With fresh ingredients, a bit of magic, and molecular gastronomy, Barrientos creates "The Experience" that will ultimately cost you $218. You know where to go if you want to experience extreme fine dining and try something new during your stay in Miami for Labor Day.

Boia De

It's interesting to mention that chefs Luciana Giangrandi and Alex Meyer had a food truck in Miami before they opened Boia De. Their food truck business was a huge hit, and the only natural move was to open a restaurant. And now that restaurant is one of the Michelin star restaurants in Miami. The food is lovely, and if you go there, you must try the Tortellini in Brodo.Ā

Los FelixĀ

Located in Coconut Grove, Los Felix is the place to go if you want to eat enriching Mexican food. It's one of the Florida Michelin star restaurants that's exceptionally charming, and you will fall in love with it at first bite. The dishes are authentically made out of fresh ingredients, and you'll crave more the minute you step out of Los Felix. The Pork Cheek Carnitas are a must here, so order them.Ā

The Surf Club Restaurant

Everything is perfect with The Surf Club Restaurant, the chef, the food, presentation, service, atmosphere, and interior; when we say everything, we mean it. And it's a beautiful place to celebrate Miami Labor Day. If you are in the mood for Oysters Rockefeller, here is the place to try them. And don't forget to order a martini too.Ā Ā

Le JardinierĀ

If you think that priorly mentioned L'Atelier is too much for you, go to Le Jardinier. The protĆ©gĆ©s of JoĆ«l Robuchon opened this restaurant at the same time as L'Atelier. It's incredible, but it's more casual, not that fancy, so it's perfect if you don't like super tight fine dining places. Try their leek stew, it doesn't sound like much, but it definitely is.Ā

The Den at AzabuĀ

Another omakase-style restaurant on this list is The Den at Azabu in Miami Beach. Here you'll be able to appreciate your food being prepared in front of you, and you'll have a chance to savor the best Wagyu.Ā  As you can see, the list is quite extensive. Make your choice and enjoy the holiday in style.
